FAQ
How do I turn images into a PDF?
Open Images to PDF and drop, choose or paste your images. Put them in order and leave out any you don’t need, pick a page size, then press Create PDF and download it. Each image becomes one page.
Which image types can I use?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF (its first frame) and BMP, plus AVIF and JPEG XL in browsers that can open them. HEIC works in browsers that can open it, such as Safari. Elsewhere, save HEIC photos as JPEG first.
Do JPEG photos lose quality?
No. JPEG photos go into the PDF without being re-saved, so their image quality doesn't change.
What page size will the PDF have?
With Same as image (the default), each page takes its image’s size and shape. With A4 or Letter, each page turns to portrait or landscape to suit its image, and the whole image is fitted on the page, never cropped. A small margin adds a white border of a quarter inch (6 mm).
Is location and camera data removed?
Yes. EXIF data such as location, camera and dates, and other hidden metadata (XMP, IPTC and comments) are left out of the PDF, and the PDF itself has no title, author, app name or dates. Only a photo’s colour profile is kept, so its colours look right. A photo’s EXIF rotation is applied first, so every page is the right way up.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your images are read and made into a PDF on your device. They are never uploaded.
What makes FixPDF different from other PDF websites?
FixPDF is free to use with no watermarks or paywall, and your files never leave your browser. Use is unlimited.
